Family Travel: Aruba's Renaissance Hotel

When planning a trip to Aruba, one island that you must stay on is Renaissance Island. This 40 acre island will help you relax and unwind from the noises of the city. Renaissance Island has something for everyone as it caters to couples and families. Fun outdoor activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and deep sea fishing awaits everyone. The island not only as a variety of activities, but many restaurants,shops, and spas for you to tour. So sit back and relax as the Renaissance Island caters to your every desire.

Just off the shore of Oranjestad, water taxis depart from the main resort and taking families and couples to the Renaissance Island. As you arrive, the hotel staff is awaiting each and every one of you personally. They'll take your bags and drop you off at any activity you would want to try first. For most families, their first stop will be snorkeling along the oceans top. This crystal clear blue water will show you all the sea creatures below. You'll be able to see clown fish, starfish, beautiful coral reefs, and plenty more aquatic life. If you're done seeing the exotic sea creatures, than head down to the kayaking center where you'll be able to kayak through the water with the whole family. A tour guide will instruct you how to correctly paddle your way through the water and guide you through different areas of the island. After a fun day of some water activities head back to the hotel to see what's on land.

If you've decided not to take the family, but rather spend a relaxing vacation with just your loved one, than the separate adult facility is where you should be. Aruba's romantic getaway will begin with an open air massage for the both of you that overlooks the sea at sunset. Along with the massage, is some private time to enjoy the beautiful sunset, but also enjoy the champagne and fruit. After your massage has relaxed you, head down to the restaurant for that perfect candlelight dinner of some of the chef's finest cuisine. Just before the dinners over, the two of you will share a complementary chocolate dessert sent over from the staff of the hotel. After your long day of relaxing and eating some of the best food, will let you two take care of the evening.

The beaches in Aruba are some of the most relaxing beaches around. All of the beaches feature plenty of hammocks, umbrellas, beach chairs, and sand to relax by the waters edge. The Renaissance Island may feel like a secluded place, but you're just 20 minutes from downtown Oranjestad. If you feel like heading off the island for a night, the boat will surely take you back to visit the downtown clubs of Oranjestad. Once the sun sets on this town, the clubs come alive with spirits and entertainment for anyone of age. Be sure not to miss the boat which docks for island at 2am.
