Famous Actresses Who Turn 40 in 2012

Forty is a big number to those of us who've made it there, however, these days, being 40 is not like it was when our grandparents or parents turned 40. A lot of people in their 40's look younger and act younger. Which of your favorite actresses will turn 40 in 2012?

Amanda Peet
I think Amanda Peet is a great actress who is sometimes overlooked. And certainly, she does not look like a 40 year old. The actress had a birthday on January 11th, so she is now 40. She was fantastic on the unfortunately, short-lived "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" as well as in the movie "Something's Gotta Give" with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. Peet grew up in New York which I think shows through her style and model-like, fantastic facial expressions. She was recently in the movie "Gulliver's Travels" with Jack Black as well as well as in the TV series "Bent."

Cameron Diaz
The adorable, sexy, girl-next-door also turns 40 this year. Cameron Diaz has been so popular for so long and has been in many movies loved by so many fans. From the comedy "The Mask" with Jim Carrey and "My Best Friends Wedding" with Julia Roberts to the serious "Any Given Sunday" with Al Pacino and the spectacular, animation "Shrek" movies, Diaz has had an amazing career. It's not surprising that this sun-kissed, blonde beauty was born in San Diego, California. She was recently in the popular movie "Bad Teacher" with Jason Segel and "What to Expect When You're Expecting" with Dennis Quaid, which is in post-production and has not yet been released. You can wish Diaz a happy birthday in August.

Relatively new to all this fame and fortune, Sofia Vagara is a stunner. She turns 40 this year as well, and I think her maturity, and sexuality proves how fabulous 40 can be. The "Modern Family" star is admired by many for her talent and beauty, and it's hard not to be taken with her. Born in July in Barranquilla, Columbia, this starlet is actually a natural blonde, aye carumba, but because of her hispanic roots and accent, dyed her hair to look the part. Vagara was recently in the hit movie "New Years Eve" with Ashton Kutcher and "The Three Stooges" which is in post-production and also stars Jane Lynch.

Jennifer Garner is a fan favorite because she really does remind us of that girl we knew in High School, or that friendly neighbor down the street. The down to earth actress turns 40 this year in April, but she has always had a baby face. The TV series "Alias" brought Garner her initial, substantial fame, but she is also married to Ben Affleck, making herself part of a hot, celebrity couple. Garner was married before Affleck, to her co-star on the show "Felicity," Scott Foley (recently of "Grey's Anatomy" fame). In 2010, Garner was in the film "Valentines Day" with Julia Roberts and is in the new "Back Roads" with Andrew Garfield which his not yet been released.
