Do you know which celebrities and other famous people, including authors and historical figures were born on New Year's Day? New Year's Day is one of the most festive days on which to celebrate a birthday. Although our New Year's Day has not always been on January 1, the actual celebration of the new year is the oldest of our modern day celebrations.

New Year's Day is celebrated as a rebirth, and a renewal, a time to refocus energies and start over, even though it is the middle of winter in some places.
