Singer Amy Winehouse was found dead Saturday in her Camden flat. Reactions to her death convey the sadness felt by those who knew her personally, as well as those who only knew her through her music. The world lost a remarkable talent at the age of 27, as the following quotes express.

Kelly Clarkson expressed on her blog her thoughts on Winehouse's passing. As someone thrust into the spotlight herself, she recognizes the unique stress the music business puts on individuals. Clarkson wrote:

As did Young Money MC -- "Please tell me Amy Winehouse didn't die, is this some sick joke" -- and Cee Lo Green -- "Is it true about amy?"
