Fan reaction: Go Frogs! TCU's the number one pick in the Rose Bowl

The TCU Horned Frogs are now waiting to play one of their biggest games in team history. Playing against the Wisconsin Badgers, they are the only non-AQ league in the BCS era to play in a Rose Bowl. Pasadena, California is gearing up for the top championship to battle out on January 1 at 5 p.m. Well I know everyone in Fort Worth will be rooting for their team. I grew up here, have family that are alumni of TCU, and likely wish I too could be a Frog one day. This is comparable to the feat the Rangers held onto going out to San Francisco earlier in the year to only lose the last game. However the Frogs are top notch in their ranks and ready to win. Here are five reasons why.

1. High scoring all season long: In every game that TCU played and won, their ending score was much higher than the opposing team. This means the coaching skills of Gary Patterson have paid off. In the final draw against New Mexico the total score was 67-17. A tremendous valiant feat for the Frogs.

2. A year of transformation and victory: With the old Among Carter stadium, home to the football field of the Frogs, already being torn down for larger crowds in the future nothing else could be better than winning the entire season. The team has been prepared to be the best. Answering with a newly remolded home for champions.

3. Highest rushing and passing yards in NCAA: Compared to the opponent, Wisconsin, the Frogs are still victorious in rushing and passing more yards on average. This means they can move the ball at a greater advantage. Total rushing yards for the season is 3134. Total passing yards for the season is 2764.

4. No loses, an entire season of winning games: I am not sure if this is a record here, but it is the best any fan could ever ask for. With a total of all 12 games won in the season, TCU has been victorious. Why not go on and win the last game? It seems a result of good practice.

5. ESPN choice favorite: Every sporting event has a calculated winning probability based on the odds. With what is presently true, as I have stated above, the Frogs are favored highly. With 63% of the total winning predictions, ESPN guesses this is the better chance outcome: the Frogs win the Rose Bowl.
