Fans of Brittney Spears Want Their Money Back-Vancouver Concert Labeled "A Circus"

Britney Stops "The Circus"

Britney Spears was in Vancouver, Canada last week to perform a concert in conjunction with her "Circus" Tour. During the middle of the concert she abruptly stopped singing and left the stage during the middle of the concert due to excessive cigarette smoke in the GM Palace.

Fans were unsure of what exactly was happening and thought that the concert was over when the lights came up, and left. An announcer appeared approximately 20 minutes after Spears exited the stage and told the audience that Spears would not perform if people continued to smoke. He also stated that the atmosphere was unhealthy for Spears and the band.

The "Circus" was halted for a good 40 minutes before Spears took the stage again and continued on with the show. She didn't offer any apologies or even make a statement about the concert being stopped.

Fans are now demanding refunds, even if they stayed for the entire concert. They say the interruption just ruined the concert and they want their money back, as well as those who left the concert thinking it was over.

A group of disgruntled fans have set up a website demanding refunds from Spears or the promoters of the concert, AEG Live at RefundFromBritney.com.

Britney's "Circus" Tour is now back in the United States. Spears will be performing in Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center on April 19-20, 2009 before heading on to Oakland, CA for an appearance on April 22, 2009. The tour is scheduled to end with a performance in the United Kingdom on June 17, 2009.
