Fans Excited About The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Special
Internet Blogs and Bravo Web-Site Dropping Hints About Drama on Real Housewives Reunion
Season 2 of The Real Housewives of New Your City started back on February 17th with the women taking aim at a second season. Alex, Bethenny, Jill, Luann, and Ramona all returned from the first season of the show, and were joined by Kelly Killoren Bensimon as more of their lives were played out on camera. It was an interesting season, filled with drama surrounding the personal lives of the women who were already running around trying to complete their next task. It was a look inside some very active lives in the social community of New York City, and showed off not only the scene of New York, but getaways at places like the Hampton's.
The whole reason for airing shows like this, is that Bravo feels it can bring in the viewers. Checking out how "the other half lives" is often a fascination with American television audiences, and there has been no exception when it comes to seasons of The Real Housewives. The interest level was so high, and the ratings were good enough, that the women were brought back for a second season, and plans are already in the works to bring them back for a third season in the very near future. This is one of those horses that Bravo will continue to ride as long as the viewers and advertisers are willing to stick around.
The first airing for The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion will happen on the night of May 12th (Tuesday) at 10 p.m. Bravo plans to follow that with The Real Housewives of New Jersey in an effort to draw in viewers, and get them interested in watching that spin-off as well. The New Jersey women will be completely different from the New York women, but will undoubtedly share the common theme of being part of the social elite, and of course getting into a lot of dramatic situations.

Post a CommentThere beter be a third season with the NY housewives!Despite or may be just because the coo-coo Kelly's presence (that initially I was excited to watch) who is so NOT in tune with reality - a total snob and a woman that 'REALLY, HONESTLY' needs help!
Uhhh isn't she Filipino?
Actually, Bethenny said "Im taking dating advice from anyone who will listen, next thing you know I'll be asking Francais and Johan"
Liz, you are the one making the assumption that Rosie was lesser than. Bethenny never implied that at all. What do you have against hispanics, Liz?
Bethany, if you're reading this:
On the last episode, you chated with Rosie about your man problems. Later we heard you say, and I'm paraphrasing, " ..... I'm taking dating advice from Rosie ..... next thing you know I'll be taking advice from Alex and Simon's kids ....." WHat was that supposed to mean? Are you lumping her together with someone's little kids because she's not a snob-monster like you and your friends? Because she's Hispanic?? Do you even know or care that you came off racist in front of millions of T.V. viewers when you said that? I'm sure Rosie's no dummy. I can just imagine her with her friends, laughing her head off at you and your ridiculous dragqueen-look-alikes 'colleagues.'
