Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer Review
The Homecoming of the Superheroes, the Fantastic Four
It's the homecoming of the superheroes. The marvel's first family of superheroes, the Fantastic Four are back all fun-filled but untroubled by the prevailing miseries to save the world from the mortal and inimical Dr. Doom(Julian McMahon)-in the spanking new high octane sequel, Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
The intergalactic force the Silver Surfer (Doug) comes to earth with his only motto - to destruct. He races about the globe wreaking havoc; changing the earth's weather patterns and fluttering its radioactive fields. He wants to gobble up all the planets. If this is not enough to give you any kicks, this time the four-piece superheroes have another threat to combat against-the evil and the old foe, Dr Doom who unleashes his evil reign.
The havoc eventually disrupts the wedding between super scientist Mr. Fantastic (Ioan) and the invisible woman (Jessica). They can't help but to postpone their wedding with the world beginning to fall apart. So they get down to their save-the-world business.
Now they must figure out the mystery of the Silver Surfer, their only hope, who's been sent to butcher the evil. They must humanize him and bring out the man in him, let alone his tears (lets don't see any tears jerking off his steely cheeks). Thank God! Unlike the other superheroes series and dramas by the likes of Batman, Superman, and Spiderman which are of late actually becoming stoical, cogitative and cantankerous about their unnatural magical powers, the Fantastic Four are still fantastic and marvelous, packed with absolute chills and thrills.
If you are thinking of rounding up your neighborhood kids by grabbing your popcorn and gate crashing for your share of gape-and-gawk spanking gizmo-flick, there's no stopping you.

- Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver SurferThe Fantastic Four was my favorite comic book growing up, but sometimes your favorite comic as a kid doesn't translate into your favorite movie as an adult.
- Fantastic 4: The Rise of the Silver SurferThis is the video game adaptation of the movie for the XBOX 360. It is not a super game, but is pretty fun as far as movie based action games go.
