Fantastic Raps: Food is a Relative Term

DrD
Step back and look in the mirror, like what you see? If you do, fantastic, it's great to have a good opinion of your own personal beauty. But if your answer was a resounding, "uh, well, sorta..." then your inconclusive answer shows how important your looks are to you. If they weren't important you wouldn't want to hedge your bet by putting off a dramatic conclusion that your looks aren't where you'd like them to be. Lightweight food, is one answer, it seems to work better than will power for me, and will power, which is the ultimate answer, doesn't seem to work so well, for others too.

Bloodless lizards, that's what many people are saying about the corporate wonks that fired Imus. The back blast of public opinion ran across the lines and asked the question of why if Imus got canned a whole bunch of other artists of the public airways didn't get canned as well? Maybe we need a change of diet?

Lightweight food that tastes good, calories without content, it's a dream come true for those of us who crave food. Scientists tell me that the reason that I crave food is more than just comfort, it relates back to a longing to have oral contact which relaxes me. Hand to mouth, and chewing, and sensational tastes, somehow, these same scientists maintain, if I'd just develop the correct amount of will power, grains, like barley and oats could come to taste as good as honey cooked Ham with mustard. That's probably why they are scientists? That's probably why I'm writing this, wow, some people will do anything for a little satisfaction...

By combining elements of spice, liquid, flour, cheese and ham, we come up with one of the best tasting raps you've ever tried. Soft Tortilla's of flour, with a handful of mixed Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese on it, put in the microwave for 30 sec's - see if the cheese has melted, if not, do 20 or 30 more seconds, then take the honey baked ham (or your favorite blend of Deli ham), fresh from the fridge, place three or four slices in the Tortilla add mustard to taste and wrap it up. This will taste better than most of the rap songs out.

We seem pretty silly when we ask if there is a double standard in existence where shows like Imus are concerned, it's obvious from the reactions of the big wigs and the public, that those who say it's not important are missing something? The public outcry to get the rappers off the air as well, has less power than the outcry to remove Imus; so if it's a change in diet that folks are looking for, maybe they could get into this wrap instead of the same old tired rap they've gotten used to? We could suggest that if a rapper has to talk about women that they have to make their song use the word "lady" instead of the other word they are so fond of (hint ...starts with a B or an H). Its diet change time!
