During the winter months cold and flu season attacks. Try this hearty, and delicious tomato soup. Easy to make, and even easier to eat.

8 quart Large sauce pot
1 Large Sauce pot
1 Chef Knife
1 Cutting Board
1 Wooden handled spoon
1 Potato Peeler or paring knife
1 Collander
5lb 5lb bag of potatoes
2 Lrg can of Mixed Vegetables ( I prefer the Original Veg-All)
1Lb Hamburger meat 80/20- Thawed
To taste Fine Black Pepper
1Tsp Salt
1 Large yellow onion- Diced
1 small mixing bowl
Directions for Fantastic Vegetable Soup

Peel, clean and cut the potatoes into at least 1" pieces. Set in a large pot filled with water so the potatoes do not start to turn brown.Peel and dice Large yellow onion. Place in Small mixing bowl and set aside.Open both large cans of mixed vegetables, and drain juice (I prefer the "Veg-All" Brand). Set aside when fully drained.Open Both large cans of Tomato Sauce and set aside.2
Season hamburger meat with Finely ground black pepper. I use roughly 3Tbsp.In the large Sauce pot Cook 1lb of Hamburger and diced onion until Browned fully. Crumble hamburger meat during cooking. Cook as much grease out as you can. Constant stirring on high heat will help with that.If you drain meat, or add water during cooking you will lose the flavor of the soup.3
Drain water off the potatoes.Add Tomato sauce, mixed Vegetables, and potatoes to meat, and onions.Allow soup to come to a boil, stirring occasionally.Turn heat to medium low and simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft.4
Serve and enjoy.A hard, crusty bread, and Ginger Ale goes very nicely with this dish.Tip
The Pepper is one of the essential parts to this soup. Use more, or less, depending on how spicy you wan't it to be. More pepper can be added during actual soup cook time to taste.
