Runs
Coco Crisp, Kansas City Royals - Coco struggled at the plate going 4 for 17 (.235) over the past week, but he did manage to score six Runs. He added a Double, Triple, HR, 5 Walks, and a SB. He is owned in 74.8% of ESPN and 46% of Yahoo leagues.
Michael Bourn, Houston Astros - He was covered in yesterday's Stolen Base article, but I might as well mention him here as well as he scored six Runs over the past week. He went 4 for 22 (.182) so you'll need to be able to absord that low average if you're looking for a boost in Runs and SBs. He's owned in 8.6% of ESPN and 19% of Yahoo leagues.
Ben Francisco, Cleveland Indians - Ben scored six Runs last week to go with a .263 average (5 for 19). He also has three Walks. He didn't contribute much else though as he didn't homer or steal a base, and he had just one RBI. He's owned in 1.2% of ESPN and 3% of Yahoo leagues.
Asdrubal Cabrera, Cleveland Indians - Ben's teammate Asdrubal Cabrera is a different story. Not only did he score six Runs, he hit .438 (7 for 16) with a Double, HR, 5 RBI, and 5 Walks. He is owned in 16.1% of ESPN and 40% of Yahoo leagues. He qualifies at 2B, SS, and MI.
Jody Gerut, San Diego Padres - Jody also scored six Runs last week with three RBI while hitting .350 (7 for 20). He is owned in 1.8% of ESPN and 5% of Yahoo leagues.
Jeremy Hermida, Florida Marlins - Jeremy hit .292 (7 for 24) last week with six Runs, a Triple, 2 HRs, 7 RBI, and 7 Walks. The talented Outfielder is owned in 15.3% of ESPN and 58% of Yahoo leagues. He helps in the RBI category as well.
RBI
Cody Ross, Florida Marlins - Ross is killing it for the Fish. He hit .333 (9 for 27) with 4 Runs, 2 Doubles, 3 HR, 11 RBI, and 2 Walks. Ross is owned in 9.5% of ESPN and 18% of Yahoo leagues.
Ramón Santiago, Detroit Tigers - Santiago did not do much last week, but he did drive in eight. He hit an abysmal .188 (3 for 16) and scored just one Run. He added a Double and 2 Walks. He is owned in 0.7% of ESPN and 3% of Yahoo leagues. He is hitting .276 on the season with 11 RBIs, and qualifies at 2B, SS, and MI.
Mike Jacobs, Kansas City Royals - Royal players are dropping like flies (Alex Gordon & Jose Guillen), but Jacobs has picked a good time to start mashing. He hit .421 (8 for 19) with 4 Runs, a Double, 3 HRs, 8 RBI, and a Walk. The First Baseman is owned in 23.3% of ESPN and 41% of Yahoo leagues, which is puzzling because he hit 32 HRs last year with 93 RBI for the Marlins.
Jason Kubel, Minnesota Twins - Kubel doesn't play everyday as the Twins have five players (Kubel, Delmon Young, Denard Span, Carlos Gomez, Michael Cuddyer) for three OF positions and DH. He played well last week though hitting .364 (8 for 22) with 5 Runs, 2 Doubles, a Triple, a Grand Slam, and 8 RBI. He is owned in 19% of ESPN and 41% of Yahoo leagues.
Mike Lowell, Boston Red Sox - It's weird to see Lowell on this list, but the Third Baseman is owend in just 39.1% of ESPN and 58% of Yahoo leagues. He hit .444 (8 for 18) last week with 5 Runs, 2 Doubles, 7 RBI, and 3 Walks. addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Flesterslegends.com%2F%3Fp%3D10332'; addthis_title = 'Fantasy+Baseball+Free+Agent+Pool+-+Runs+%26%23038%3B+Ribbies'; addthis_pub = '';
