Now so as to it is official that Brett Favre will return to the Minnesota Vikings starting lineup, it comes to no secrecy that he will do everything in his power to help lead his team to the Super Bowl in 2011. There was never a doubt that Brett Favre would return to the Vikings lineup in 2010, the only doubt or misconception of his return was if his health - and recovery from elbow surgery would permit him to play in 2010.

There had been so much speculation that Brett Favre would retire in 2010 - overshadowed the fact that there was much too much media spin about his decision to give it one more go for a chance to help the Minnesota Vikings win a Super Bowl title.

Personally as a sports writer and die hard NFL enthusiast, I have gained even more respect for Brett Favre as an athlete and as a man - considering the many devastating things he has had to contend with during the past five years. How many athletes can overcome the loss of a father, finding out that your wife has an almost incurable form of cancer, most of this would have been too much for most professional athletes to put up with.

Brett Favre is a rare breed of player that has proven to be the true iron man of professional football, and it will be his heart and love for his teammates that will lead the Minnesota Vikings to appear in Super Bowl XLV in 2011.

If you are a betting man or woman concerning Fantasy Football, you better have Brett Favre in the top 3 QB picks, indeed this will probably be his last year, and you better believe he will light up the Fantasy Football score board in 2010.
