1. Adam Vinatieri, Colts
4 Super Bowls. 2 Super Bowl winning kicks. Adam Vinatieri is a sure-fire Hall-of-Famer and his leg does not seem to be tiring. He kicks half of his games in a dome and he is the best bet for a kicker again this season.
2. Nate Kaeding, Chargers
Nate Kaeding had a solid season last year and will put a good number of points up on the board this season. The Chargers should get in the red zone a lot and he will benefit from the times they don't make it into the end zone.
3. Robbie Gould, Bears
The Bears offense is good, but not quite good enough. The Bears should have a lot of drives stall within field goal range this year so Gould will put up some points.
4. Jeff Wilkins, Rams
Jeff Wilkins is another kicker who will kick half of his field goals indoors. He will also be kicking in San Francisco and Arizona, hardly bad kicking weather. The Rams will also get the ball into field goal territory for him.
5. Neil Rackers, Cardinals
Rackers has quite a leg. He has the ability to hit a field goal from 50+ yards but sometimes his accuracy isn't quite there. 2 years ago he had a 24-point fantasy game (better than most running backs) but I don't see that happening again.
6. Shayne Graham, Bengals
Graham benefited from a lot of stalled drives last season, but with Carson Palmer looking better I don't expect that to happen as often. Graham is still pretty reliable and would be worth it as the sixth kicker taken in any draft.
7. Jason Hanson, Lions
Jason Hason is another kicker who gets extra credit for playing in a dome. He also gets credit for the Lions offense, which looks like it could stall within field goal range a lot this season.
8. David Akers, Eagles
Akers used to be the best kicker for fantasy football but he has gone down a few rungs in recent seasons. He should still have a decent year this season.
9. Jason Elam, Broncos
Jason Elam is one of the best kickers in the game's history, but his fantasy value is always hard to determine. He has a reliable leg, but the winter in Denver makes kicking hard. Elam is still reliable on most nights and can hit one from 60 yards.
10. Matt Stover, Ravens
Matt Stover is another of the older kickers. He used to be a top-3 kicker for fantasy, especially with the Ravens anemic offense. He could put up some nice numbers again this season as the Ravens offense does not look much better.
