Fantasy Football WR Sleepers for 2010

Which Players Should You Pick Late This Season?

Now that the season is almost here, many players are looking for fantasy football WR sleepers for 2010.

This season there are a ton of deep sleepers at the WR position that you can snag late and hope for big stats from.

Let's take a look at some of these players as we get ready for football season again this year.

Sleeper #1 Julian Edelman-

The Patriots are primed by a big year, especially if preseason is any indication. Tom Brady lit up the Rams in game three and that was without two of his top targets in Julian Edelman and Wes Welker.

Edelman quietly played the slot role occupied by Welker very well late last year and he'll have another chance to excel as the slot receiver, a spot Brady loves to throw to often on the field.

Edelman has shiftiness and toughness much like Welker.

Sleeper #2 Jacoby Jones-

Kevin Walter has put up some stats as the second receiver to Andre Johnson in Houston, but he is limited by a lack of speed and fluidity in his cuts.

Jones is a burner who is learning how to play and he could creep up to near 1,000 yards if he overtakes Walter for the second spot, which he very well might do.

He is a top fantasy football WR sleeper because he plays for a high-powered offense as well.

Sleeper #3: Malcom Floyd-

Vincent Jackson is still in flux, and Floyd's value will shoot up big-time if Jackson is traded.

Even if Jackson isn't traded, the athletic Floyd has proven to be a reliable target for Philip Rivers who could break out in a big way this season.

Many auction drafts still have him going for just a dollar which is an outright steal.

Sleeper #4: Johnny Knox-

He's got speed to burn and Jay Cutler throwing him the ball. Knox and Cutler almost hooked up for many huge plays last year but their timing was just a bit off.

If they can complete a few more of those bombs this year, Knox can suddenly get defenses to respect him opening up the field for himself and others even more, making him a big fantasy football WR sleeper for 2010.
