1. Are the animals real? yes, all of the animals inside The Harambe Wildlife Reserve are real.
2. Are the trucks on tracks? No, there are paths that we follow throughout the ride but the trucks are not on any form of tracks, there are several reasons for this is because we drive the trucks off of the ride path at night to have maintenance done to them for your safety. This is also for the animals safety, there is no predicting what the animals will do because they are free roaming and we need to be in full control in-case a animal darts in front of us.
3. Can you stop so that I can get a picture of the lion, giraffe, hippos, etc. ? No. This is not because we are mean, this is because it is a ride and we have to maintain spacing between the truck in front of us and the truck behind us and if we stopped for every request the wait times for the ride would be too long.
4. How do you keep the lions and cheetahs from eating the other animals? We feed the animals very well. (You have to stay in theme ;-) there are hidden boundaries. Once you have driven the track a million times you will start to recognize them)
5. Are the trucks difficult to drive? I am a small girl, I am only 5'4 and about 115 pounds and I find that driving these trucks is as easy as driving my VW Beetle.
6. Do you get to play with the animals a lot? No, I don't even get to touch the animals. A lot of people think that the drivers are also responsible for animal care but that is Animal Care.
7. Do you love your job? I will admit that I do love my job, but it is a job and it sometimes gets to you just like any other job.
8. Does it get hot driving around all day? YES, of course it does... this is Florida. But I am not always driving, I work the line and the dock too.
10. Do you live on site? No, the only people Disney provides housing to is people in the College Program, and their apartments are on the other side of I-4 and they still have to pay rent.
11. What are the chains on the path? They are Anti-Poaching Devices (you have to stay in theme ;-) actually they are cattle guards)
There are many other common questions but if I went on it would take forever. However if you have questions you would like to ask me, feel free to email me or comment.

Post a Comment:) The animals don't feed of off each other. They actually have a facility that prepares all of the animals foods.
Do the animals feed on each other after hours. Lions hunting wildabeast, crocs eating birds, etc?
Great FAQs! I was on this last weekend.
