Far East Movement Puts Asian Americans on the Hip Hop Charts

From Los Angeles, California, Far East Movement or FM made it to the top of the music charts with their popular single "Like a G6".

With an Electro Hop sound - a unique blend of hip-hop and robotic electronic beats - the Far East Movement created music that is not only smooth but also original. Their music was heard from movies like The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift to television show like Entourage and Gossip Girl.

Consisting of members Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif and DJ Virman, the Far East Movement represents Asian American cultures with Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Filipino descends.
