Farmville Cheats, Tricks and Hints for Gaining Coins and XP Faster

One of the most popular game applications on Facebook is Farmville. With Farmville you can grow a large farm, or even a whole town, raise animals for profit, grow fruit from trees and harvest fruits, vegetables and flowers. The game is from Zynga and allows players to play the same way they would in Yoville.

One thing you will notice immediately with Farmville is it takes money to build your farm the way you want it, a lot of money in some cases. You will also need to gain experience points in order to advance further in the game. Knowing how to use tips, cheats and tricks for Farmville will help any player advance in the game quickly, especially in the higher levels when it takes more XP points to move on to the next level.

Many sites offer Farmville cheats and tricks in eBook form or through special websites for up to $24.99 just to learn the same secrets and tricks you can find for free if you search for them. Many of the programs others sell either don't work or require you to download programs that might not work or may contain a virus that could infect your computer. Each of these Farmville cheats have been tried out by me and they work for me and hopefully you too. Remember to play the game the right way so you won't get into the bad graces of your Farmville neighbors.

Stable and Barn Animals -

This cheat is pretty simple. First I ask for Farmville friends to give me free gifts of chickens and cows just as my coups and dairy farm is close to harvest. What I like to do is save the chickens, cows, horses and foals I get in return in my gift box until I need them and this cheat will only work if you save your animals. Wait until you see the pink triangle above your stable, barn, nursery or coup, but do not collect anything from them. Next take your extra animals (assuming your barns, nursery and coup are not already full)and add them to their appropriate place, then you can collect the eggs, horse tail hair and milk. You will notice you received more coins and XP then you would have if you collected before adding the animals. You can repeat this trick over and over again to get extra money without having to wait a day.

Co-Ops Jobs -

Once you have made it to level 20 and above you can do this simple cheat that will help you get a lot of FarmVille coins and XP faster to buy more items. Personally, when I join a co-op I like to participate and help the group. But, you can also join a co-op right before the other players complete their harvest and you will get the points, XP and Gold Medal prize as if you did participate. This cheat might also be a good way to get you in the bad graces of your Farmville neighbors though, so watch out.

Remember, there are ribbons for winning Co-Op jobs at the gold level, so be sure to ask your neighbors in your Facebook status if they will be part of your Co-Op to get it done faster.

Plants That Grow Quickly -

So, you've planted seeds that will take days to grow like Watermelon, Cotton, Wheat, Daffodils, Corn and Artichokes and now you're waiting, and waiting. Pretty boring. Using a large plot of land makes this cheat easy, but you can use any size plot of land. Designate a square area for fast growing plants like Strawberries and Raspberries. These grow in 2 to 4 hours and cost little money. If you are going to be on Facebook a lot during the day you can plant and harvest these berries over and over all day to rack up more Farmville coins and XP.

When you go to sleep at night try to plan on planting seeds that will take 8 to 12 hours to grow like Lilacs, Pumpkins, Rice and Cranberries. This way you can continue to earn money while you sleep and harvest the crops in the morning when you wake up or shortly after you wake up. Remember to ask your Facebook friends to fertilize your crops. Not only will they get Farmville coin and XP bonuses, it helps you to gain a ribbon for picking fertilized crops.

Following Friends for Updates -

Following your active Farmville neighbors on Facebook will help you to earn when you have run out of neighbors farms to tend to between growing sessions. Knowing who is actively playing Farmville will ensure you items like Mystery Eggs, adopting wandering animals, bonuses from helping tend crops such as extra cans of fuel, 50 and 100 FarmVille coin bonuses and 100 XP bonuses. Sometimes there are even Farmville cash prizes available, but those are pretty rare.

Mystery Eggs and Boxes For Great Prizes -

Mystery boxes as gifts from neighbors and Mystery eggs from the coups are great ways of getting expensive or rare items to add to your farm. The best items I have received so far from the eggs have been a School House, a tool shed, 10,000 Farmville coins and a small pond along with the numerous chickens. Always be on the lookout for those chicken eggs and keep following your friends updates in their statuses so you can be the first to grab them.

Ribbons -

Ribbons are pretty easy to get and getting a little help from your neighbors on Farmville can help you get ribbons faster. If you pull up the free gifts you can send to other Farmville friends you will notice that a lot of the items you need to get ribbons are right there for you to give away and for you to receive from friends.

The White Picket Fences are a great example. Send some to your friends and almost 100% of the time they will send the same gift back to you. Get 5 of those and you already have a white ribbon and you didn't have to spend one Farmville coin to get the ribbon. The same goes with harvesting unique trees, send a tree to a friend or ask a friend for one and once you pick the fruit you will get the ribbons in this category without spending any money.

If you are looking for particular items you can also do a broadcast on your Facebook status to let others know what you are looking for so they will know exactly what to send you. When you use up all the gifts in your gift box you will see a message letting you know you are out of gifts, but you can broadcast to let people know what you want. Use this feature as often as you want.

Sell Unwanted Items -

If you find yourself with any unwanted items you received as a gift from a neighbor on Farmville you can sell it for quick money. If you receive any items like a wheelbarrow, wagon, small rock, etc. remember to put it out on your grass first before you sell it. You can get a Pack Rat ribbon for any decorations that were out on your property. If you sell it while it is still in the gift box it won't count.
