FarmVille for Facebook: Quick and Cheap Ways to Earn the Architect Ribbons

Brandon Miller
FarmVille for Facebook is probably one of the most addicting games on the web. In the game, players design their own farm, raise crops and livestock, and connect with their Facebook friends by adding them as neighbors. One important part of the game is a reward system that allows you to earn ribbons, experience points, and coins by completing milestones. In this guide, you will learn the quickest and most effective way to earn the architect ribbons without spending a ton of coins.

There are four architect ribbons. It is important to know what the requirements and rewards are for each ribbon so you can formulate a strategy. Here is a complete list of the architect ribbons:

White Architect Ribbon (Own 2 buildings) - 100 XP, 500 coins

Yellow Architect Ribbon (Own 6 Buildings) - 250 XP, 2500 coins

Red Architect Ribbon (Own 15 Buildings) - 500 XP, 5000 coins

Blue Architect Ribbon (Own 30 Buildings) - 1000 XP, 10000 coins

Buying buildings in Farmville can be really expensive. Since buildings cannot be gifted to you by your Facebook friends, you will need to purchase them all yourself. Some of them even cost as much as 100,000 coins. However, there is are a couple of easy methods that I found to help you earn all of the ribbons for as little as 12,000 coins.

FarmVille for Facebook: Architect Ribbon Strategy #1 - Rest Tents

The cheapest building in FarmVille is the rest tent. Each of these rest tents cost a mere 1,000 coins. To earn your ribbons using this method, plant and harvest crops until you have 22,000 coins. Keep buying rest tents until you have earned all of your ribbons. Keep in mind that the 22,000 coins will not buy the 30 total buildings to earn all of your ribbons. However, as you earn each ribbon, you will be rewarded with more coins to spend.

FarmVille for Facebook: Arcitect Ribbon Strategy #2 - Dairy Barns

Another easy way to earn all of the architect milestones is to purchase a dairy barn and fill it with cows. For the time being, this may simply be a glitch in FarmVille. First, purchase a dairy barn. This will count as one building. Next, fill the barn with cows. Each time you purchase and put a cow in your barn, you will see your building count increase by one. The initial barn will cost you 10,000 coins. Each cow costs 300 coins. At first, this method is a little more expensive than the rest tent strategy. However, the cows will eventually generate enough coins that you will not only earn your ribbons, but will have a unlimited daily income to earn your money back.

Whether you are an experienced Facebook gamer or new to Facebook altogether, earning FarmVille ribbons is one of the easiest ways to get tons of experience points and coins. Luckily, becoming a master architect in FarmVille can be easy as long as you plan ahead and have a strategy. Hopefully, this guide will help you earn your ribbons with little to no effort.

Brandon, I am in love with Farmville, please find out when you qualify for the larger farms, I have a friend at level 42 who still can not get the 22x22! Frustrating to say the least.
