The advantages of giving free gifts are obvious and there really isn't much to add about them. Even if you don't like the gift your neighbor gave to you you can always sell it to get some extra cash and put it towards a crop, decoration, tree or animal that you would rather have. Hay bales and fences and rather pointless unless you want to use the Farmville stacking trick.

The Farmville Stacking Trick

This is something that is better seen than written about so my first recommendation is to go to You Tube and do a search for "Farmville stacking", "Farmville hay bale trick" or "Farmville fence stacking" to learn more. The trick is basically an illusion that is created when you stack the hay bales or fences close enough to each other. This creates the illusion that they are actually stacked on top of each other and it can look very, very cool. Some Farmville farmers have been very creative in utilizing this trick.

It is very much recommended that you get all the neighbors that you can so you can gain more free gifts. Also, keep track who is giving gifts and who isn't simply because you have a limit of the amount of free gifts you can send in a day. It would be a shame if you were wasting those gifts on people who do not reciprocate.
