Farmville Goes Gaga

Lady Gaga's quest for world domination looks set to continue '" this time through one of Zynga's most popular games. Not content with making headlines for her music and interesting fashion sense, Gaga is getting a piece of the FarmVille action!

FarmVille is one of the most played games on Facebook, in which you have to build and tend to a virtual farm. The addition of the English farm within the game proved to be a popular one, but I don't imagine anyone ever expected to see a special Gaga themed farm.

GagaVille is set to be launched on May 17, and will show up alongside the regular farms. For everyone who enjoys the aspect of breeding crazy animals, GagaVille may be a welcome addition. The new farm is said to include unicorns, crystals and motorcycle-riding sheep!

One can't help but wonder what other things may be in store for this FarmVille add-on. Perhaps a new meat dress will be available for your farmer to wear, or maybe there will be some karaoke- singing pigs, or even some monsters!

This is an incredible marketing ploy by both Zynga and Lady Gaga. Not only will GagaVille allow you to grow a very different kind of farm, there will be special tasks to complete which will allow you to hear some of the tracks from her new album before its commercial release on May 23.

For those who aren't fans of the "Born This Way" singer, an additional farm will be nothing more than an inconvenience, but for her fans, it is an exciting opportunity to get a taste of her newest musical offerings. Whether the GagaVille farm is for keeps or just a temporary thing hasn't been revealed, but either way on May 17, FarmVille is set to rock!
