FarmVille Guide for Facebook

Have you gotten hooked on FarmVille for Facebook yet? If you haven't you should, it is a very fun application for a game on Facebook. Here are some tips, information and anything else you could think of for the game.

First you will need to add the application, and then once you do that, you will need to build your avatar farmer, you can do this by choosing male or female and what they look like! This application is a Farm that you get to run right from your computer. You can plant crops, harvest them, get animals, collect from them, have trees, etc...

Next you can find friends that are also farmers on your Facebook and add them as your FarmVille neighbors! When you have neighbors you can send them gifts such as fences, tree's, animals, hay bales, etc. You can also go and visit your neighbors to tend to their farms if needed. Listed below are the steps to add a neighbor, send gifts and visit farms!

ADDING NEIGHBORS AND TENDING FARMS

1. Go to FarmVille Application and click on the tab that says "My Neighbors"

2. Once there it will show you which of your Facebook friends are using the FarmVille app.

3. Find which friends you would like to add as your Neighbor's and click on the Tab that says Add ______ as Neighbor.

4. A window will then pop up asking if you would like to add a personal message to the request, you can if you would like and then click the send button.

5. Once they have accepted your neighbor request they will show up as neighbors under the play tab of FarmVille.

6. Go to the bottom of the FarmVille page, click on a neighbors picture and you can then pick one of three choices:

• Send Gift to ______

• Visit/Help ______ Farm

• Change Neighbors

7. Click on the Visit/Help ___ Farm tab, it will then take you to that neighbors farm.

8. Sometimes when visiting a neighbor's farm a screen will pop up asking you to do something to help that person out, such as clearing weeds, racking leaves, watering. Click on the accept button, and you will have now helped your neighbor out.

9. Once you have visited their farm and you are ready to go back to your own farm, on the right hand side of the bottom of the screen, click on the Return Home Tab.

SENDING GIFTS

1. On the FarmVille application, click on the Free gifts tab

2. You can choose which gift you would like to send to your friends, some of them will not be unlocked until you reach higher levels of FarmVille, Once you have decided click on the proceed to send button.

3. On the next screen there will be three tabs of options:

• All Friends

• FarmVille Friends

• Facebook Friends

4. Click on the FarmVille Friends tab to send them the gift that you choose.

5. Once you have clicked which friends you want to send to click on the Send FarmVille Gift Request button.

6. A screen will once again pop up asking you to add personal message, go ahead if wanted and click send.

You have now sent gifts to your friends!

PLOWING AND PLANTING

As soon as you are ready you can plow and plant, you get charged FarmVille coins for each piece of land you plow and when you plant you get charged the amount of coins set for each item you plant.

1. On the bottom right of the FarmVille screen, there is a button that looks like a farming hoe, click on it and then on your farmland click where you would like to plow. It costs 15 coins per square of land you plow and you also get one experience point per square.

2. Plow as many fields as you want being sure to leave yourself some coins to plant on your plowed land.

3. Once you are finished plowing, click on the button that says Market.

4. You can now choose from the market what you would like to plant, you can choose from a variety of items that vary in length of time to grow.

5. Once you have picked which item you want to plant, you can click on each field you want that item in!

HARVESTING

1. Once your fields have grown you can now harvest them, as well as any trees that have grown.

2. Click on each item that needs harvested and a screen will pop up with several options, click on the harvest button.

3. Your harvest has now been harvested and sold for more coins!

Other things you can do with your farm are expand the farm, to get more land. You can buy items from the market place to place on your farm and get experience points, such as barns, buildings, fences, decorations, vehicles, etc.

In order to be able to get bigger and better items, you have to unlock them; you do this by building your experience and reaching new levels.

Once you have animals, you can collect items from them to sell as well such as eggs from chickens, milk from cows, feathers from ducks, etc. To collect these from your animals, click on the animal and from the menu that pops up, click collect _______.

You can also sell, move, walk, and pet your animals.

There are ribbons you can earn as you go through your farming career. They help you set goals to do for your farm, and keep track of your progress throughout it to award you ribbons.
