FarmVille - Pros & Cons of Using FarmVille Vehicles

As with everything in FarmVille, there are pros and cons to using the vehicles provided by FarmVille. In this guide, I will go over the pros and cons of using the vehicles in FarmVille. First, we will take a look at the pros and then the cons.

Pros of Using FarmVille Vehicles

One of the pros is definitely the fact that you can plow, plant, and harvest a lot quicker than you use too. With the vehicles, you can do the tasks in fours instead of one. Another pro is the vehicles make your farm look cooler. The last pro for the vehicles is the fact that you get quite a bit of points when you purchase one. That is all of the pros. There aren't many pros to buying the vehicles FarmVille has to offer.

Cons of Using FarmVille Vehicles

Now we will take a look at the cons. One of the cons is the fact that you can only plow 150 fields before you run out of fuel. You will then have to purchase more fuel or wait 6 hours to use the vehicle again. Your other option is just going back to doing it the old fashion way. If you have less than 150 fields, then the vehicles may work great for you. If you have more, you will still have to use the old fashion way.

When you purchase all three vehicles, the one fuel tank is for all of the vehicles. For example, if you plow 145 fields, you can only use the seeder for 5 fields. Since you used almost all of your fuel plowing, you will only have a small amount for the other vehicles. I think this is crazy. It seems like they would provide a tank for each of the vehicles, so you could use all three. If you wanted to use all three vehicles, you would have to do 50 fields with each vehicle.

As of right now, the only way to purchase more fuel is to buy it with Farm Cash. That means you must pay actual money for the fuel. The downside to that is, you only get one use out of the fuel you purchase with cash. Once you run out of fuel, that's it. It will not refuel. So, that is money gone. The fuel ranges from $3 to $65. Maybe eventually, FarmVille will give us the option of purchasing fuel with coins like they did with the upgrades. You had the option of purchasing land with coins or cash.

Overall

So, it seems, the cons outweigh the pros. However, if you have plenty of money saved up and would like to purchase the vehicles, go ahead. They do make your farm look cool and do help out some. If you're short on money, don't stress over buying these vehicles. 15 minutes extra of work would equal about what you would save with the vehicles.
