Farmville Tips: How to Get More Farmville Neighbors

You wouldn't be reading this article right now if like me you didn't just love Zynga's Facebook game Farmville. One of the most important aspects of the game is to earn money so you can buy the things you want for your farm such as vehicles, barns, and decorations. As you progress through Farmville you start to accumulate alot of stuff, trees, animals, and decorations and you get to a point that you just don't have enough room. This is where having more Farmville neighbors are helpful. You need neighbors not only to help you unlock land expansions for your farm but also to receive more gifts, and to earn alot of money to get the items you would like for your farm. This guide will give you the tips you need not only to get more neighbors for Farmville but also help you get the most from your neighbors.

There are a few ways to get more neighbors. The neighbors you already have may be able to help you. Ask them if they know of anyone who would like to be neighbors with you. You can also post on your wall that you are looking for more Farmville neighbors and before you know it a friend of a friend will be sending you a friend request through Facebook.

There are also alot of groups on Facebook that specifically help you to get more neighbors. One of them is Farmville Neighbor finder that can be found here. Alot of people post their request for neighbors here, and have had much success. My only suggestion to you is be selective in who you choose to be your neighbor, you don't want someone who has 3,000 friends on Facebook because you just won't benefit with this person on the game. So look at the person's profile to see just how many friends they have and decide. It will be hard to get Farmville coins from them for ribbons, coins only go out for ribbons to the first 10 people who collect them, plus they will not be able to send gifts to you everyday due to the limitations on gifts sent per day through Farmville.

Once you have more Farmville neighbors be kind to them. Make sure that you send them gifts daily for in return you will receive gifts too. Another benefit of having more Farmville neighbors is that now you will have more friends to send you gifts, fertilize your crops and earn Farmville coins from. You will accumulate more money, more stuff for your farm, and your crops will grow faster and bigger.

When you hit Home on your Facebook Page you will see News Feed and Live Feed. This is where you will see what all your friends on Facebook are doing. Hit Live Feed scroll down and find your friends who are posting to their walls with their Farmville stuff and start collecting from them. Here you will find ribbons which pay out the most coins to you, the ribbons have the highest payout to you they can be worth 50- 500 coins depending on the ribbon your friend has earned. Also it is important to know that even if one of your friends plays Farmville and is not your Farmville neighbor you can still collect from them.

On the Live Feeds you will also be able to adopt animals such as pink cows, turtles, brown cows, clumsy reindeers and turkeys depending on the season and those wonderful mystery eggs that usually hatch a chicken. You can also accumulate perfect batches of flowers to decorate your farm with that last two weeks. You have to be quick on the animals and flowers before they are all gone.

Before you know it you will be accumulating money to buy the things you need for your farm. You can also go back on the feeds by hitting the older posts link on the bottom of the page. I have received coins from up to 7 hours back, it just depends on how many people have collected from them at that point. If it is no longer available Farmville will tell you.

Even if you feel uncomfortable about posting your request for Farmville neighbors, you can go on Farmville Neighbor Finder and pick out people you would like to be neighbors with just by sending a friend request, just be sure to
include a note that you would like to be Farmville neighbors and will send gifts everyday. I did this just to get 2 neighbors I needed to get a land expansion without posting a request, and it worked. You can also make new friends with your new Farmville neighbors, there are alot of really nice people out there in the world of Farmville. Plus It's not considered spamming because they are posting that they want neighbors on Farmville.

Another great tip on Farmville is to block your farmer in. When the game loads your farmer is in the exact spot everytime. Block your farmer in with haybales on grass where one plot would have been forming a square around them. This makes it so your farmer doesn't walk around to harvest crops, plow or plant. She or he will stay put and you will able to do the things you need to do faster without having to wait on your farmer. I have also seen people put fencing, and hay stacks around their farmer also. Plus buying the haybales will help you earn a ribbon faster.
