FarmVille Tips and Tricks

So, you've switched from Farm Town to FarmVille like I have? Well now I will share my FarmVille tips with you like I've helped 4500+ people with Farm Town Tips and 1000 people with Mafia Wars Game Tips!

Planting/Plowing

Instead of planting the seeds that will make you the most money each, you want to concentrate on the seeds that will give you the most Profit per hour. That means, typically, that the crops that take the shortest to grow, even though they may not make much money each, will be the most profitable in experience and cash over time, because not only are you planting, plowing, etc. more often, you are also earning more cash per hour. Peas, though expensive, will be your biggest money maker (with not a lot of labor), and Strawberries, and Blueberries will be your experience earner (watch out for raspberries, though). You don't need a ton of money very early on, so I would plant berries to level up as much as possible, first.

This does take into account that you can log in about every 4 hours or so to keep this up. If you have work, school, or other responsibilities, tailor the planting of your crops with the time you will be away from the computer in mind.

Acheivements are also money and experience (and item) makers, though they aren't consistant enough to rely on for a regular source of income. Logging in daily will let you play the 'lottery' where you will win a tiny amount of money, daily.

My best tip has got to be 'make friends'. Join one of those 'FarmVille add me' groups, and watch your friends skyrocket. Besides having a lot of friends whose farm you can visit and tend for a small amount of cash and experience, you can also send them gifts and get gifts in return. Make sure you figure out who is consistant at sending gifts back to you, and send them the best gift you have unlocked daily. Hopefully they will do the same. Sell all of your trees and animals for money (after getting the apropriate acheivements). The more friends you have, the more potential for getting gifts, meaning the more free money you can get with very little effort or time spent.

Finally, don't play this game for any other reason than to have fun. Don't spam, don't be rude, just be friendly and build the best farm ever! I will see you there! :)

Farmville was my favorite game on Facebook, but it got to where it took up too much of my time and a lot of effort to keep up the large farm. I let it go a few times and came back, then finally deleted the app. I've thought about starting over but so far have waved off the idea.
