Farmville Vehicles and Farmville Expansion - a Guide and Tips

At some point in the game you will be able to expand your farm to include more items, crops, decorations, vehicles etc. This is especially useful for the vehicles that Farmville offers. While not necessary they do make it a lot easier to harvest and plant crops and plow the field. You're going to run out of fuel right in the middle of a job most of the time so there is an option to spend your Farmville Cash on fuel. I think the fuel is a waste of money but if you're someone who is always busy but likes to play then it may just be for you. Here's the Farmville Vehicles list and the different amounts of Farmville Fuel you can purchase.

Expansions - For the expansions you need to have a certain number of neighbors or you can just pay 20 Farmville Cash to expand your farm right off the bat.

Homestead - 14x14 - This is the first expansion you can buy.
Family Farm - 16x16 - requires 10 neighbors
Big Family Farm - 18x18 - requires 13 neighbors
Plantation - 20x20 - requires 16 neighbors
Big Ole Plantation - 22x22 - not yet available
Mighty Plantation - 24x24 - not yet available

Tractor - 30,000 - Level 12 needed
Pink Tractor - 30,000 - Level 12 needed
Harvester - 30,000 - Level 13 needed
Seeder - 30,000 - Level 14 needed

20 Fuel Refills - 40
30 Fuel Refills - 55
50 Fuel Refills - 65

As I said above I think buying fuel is a waste of money but some people simply don't have the time to spend go through Farmville on a daily basis the way others do but still love to play the game. It can get time consuming.

As far as expansions go, buy them as soon as you can. You're going to run out of room in time! I'm interested in seeing what happens in the future with these expansions

If you're not interested in buying more fuel than you'll have to plan out in advance what you want to use the fuel for. It's impossible to predict exactly when you're going to run out of fuel. Personally I don't bother with any of them as their expensive and I prefer to harvest a lot of crops than have a lot of decorations or vehicles. For me it's a waste of money.
