Farmville Vehicles - Faster Crops, Faster Money

In Farmville a basic task that we repeat incessantly from the beginning of the game to its end is the plow/seed/harvest "ritual". This is quite boring because it's always the same thing and beside tedious, is also time-consuming.

Fortunately, there are some tools that can help us out on this heavy duty tasks, making them easier and a lot faster.

The Farmville vehicles can speed up your farming work four times faster as they can work 4 plots at a time, a 2x2 area instead of each plot at a time if you do it manually. This is a huge time-saver because as you can see in real agriculture, the best farmers are also those who have the best machinery and make the most profits. Vehicles save you time and effort, leaving you time to take care of your animals, trees and any other task you need to do in your farm.

Let's see the three different types of vehicles available in Farmville:

The Tractor

You can use it to plow your land and it is presented in two colors: the red tractor is the standard one and the pink one is for the ladies! They cost 5,000 coins each and if you later want to sell it you can still get 250 coins for it. You receive 50 XP points when you buy it, so it's a nice help to raise XP level.

The only negative thing about machinery in Farmville is the need for Fuel. You must certify that you have Fuel before you can use your Tractor. Then you can select your Tractor, pick the "plow" option and start plowing your land in a 2x2 area. With this done, next step is the seeding.

The Seeder

Seeder allows you to plant seeds in a 2x2 area. It costs you 30,000 coins and gives you 300 XP points when you buy it. To use it, just click on your seeder and select the "plant seeds" option. Select the type of seeds you want to plant, and then just click the areas that you want to plant your seeds.

The Harvester

This machine is used to collect your crops when they are ready to harvest. It also costs 30,000 coins and gives you 300 XP points like the seeder and you can sell it for 1,500 coins also. To use it is the same method; select the harvester, pick "harvest" and then select your fully grown crops in order to harvest them.

Remember that each machine consumes Fuel and it costs 1 Fuel for each plot of land. So in a 2x2 area it consumes 4 Fuel for each action (plow, seed or harvest). Keep this in mind because the machinery consumes tons of Fuel!!
