Farouk Chi 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Iron - Product Review

I love for my hair to have bounce and shine. When it comes to having the right curling iron, I swear I'm a picky Amy. I think that buying cheap curling irons is only going to give you cheap looking hair.

I went shopping for a nice set of Flat irons and ended up buying the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron for $70. The reason I bought these flat irons is because my friend uses them all the time and from what I see, they make her hair look amazing.

What I like about the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron

The main thing I like about the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron is that they are ceramic. Having ceramic curling irons helps to keep your hair protected from heat. I do not buy flat irons that aren't made with ceramic. I learned my lesson the hard way when I was in college; I bought a pair of flat irons that weren't made from ceramic and burnt my ends.

Another thing I like about the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron is that they are exceptionally small. I love small flat irons when it comes to my hair because I can get small curls out of them. The Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron curls very well and it also gives my hair a fine shine which is what I also look for when it comes to flat irons.

What I didn't like about the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron

I hate flat irons that don't offer a way for you to adjust the heat. Every woman needs a certain amount of heat on her hair and when it comes to the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron, we don't get that. This is a bad feature and this would be something I would definitely change about it.

Another thing I didn't like about the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron is that even though it flattens your hair really good, it doesn't last long at all. I think I used my Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron for less than a month before it broke! For $70 I wasn't impressed with the fact that I had a broken set of flat irons in my bathroom.

My conclusion?

The Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron are only good if you plan on using them for a few days. They would be a great paid of flat irons if they actually lasted longer than they do. I also think that it needs a heat adjustment dial as well.

Other than that the Farouk Chi 1 inch ceramic flat iron has potential to be great, it just needs a few adjustments before it's considered to be excellent.
