Farrah Fawcett Funeral Arrangements Set for June 30th
While we mourn the untimely death of beloved king of pop music Michael Jackson, another grieving family prepares for the burial of another beloved star, Farrah Fawcett. The "Charlie's Angel" star died on the same day as the king of pop, just hours earlier. Farrah had been battling cancer since 2006.
While mourning the death of Michael Jackson, don't forget Farrah Fawcett was also one of the beloved Angels of the 70s and activist for women's rights.
Farrah Fawcett's funeral, as confirmed by PEOPLE magazine, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30th, 2009. It is reported that Ryan O'Neal, her long time partner, is handling the funeral. It is scheduled for 4PM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles. Apparently, it is closed to the public. It is open by invitation only, according to PEOPLE sources.
Fawcett's son Redmond will be allowed to attend the funeral; he had been incarcerated due to drug charges.
