Fashion Dash: Tips, Hints and Cheats

"Fashion Dash" is a time management game available for the PC and Mac. In this game, you play Coco, an aspiring fashion designer who works in a retail store. In this game, you must help customers shop, lead them to dressing rooms, take alterations requests to your seamstress, operate the cash register and serve beverages, all while keeping your customers happiness levels high.

General Tips
Always keep an eye on your customers' happiness levels. If a customer gets too upset, she leaves your store in a fit of rage, costing you a whopping 200 points.

The guitar girls are the most annoying customer in Fashion Dash. If they sit in the waiting area too long, they begin to play their guitars, pestering everyone around them. Make sure to seat these girls in an area of the store away from as many customers are possible. That way, if they begin to play their guitar, it only annoys a few people, rather than the entire store.

If you have several customers wanting perfume, you only need to go to the fragrance station once to deliver the perfume to all the customers who request it.

The flirting bonus does not work in the dressing room, i.e., if you place a young man in a dressing room next to a young woman, you do not receive extra points. Wait until both guests finish and then activate the flirting bonus.

You only need to make one visit to the coffee machine or tea machine to serve the beverage to all guests. However, when you unlock the wine at the the Madrid, Spain level , you must visit the wine bottle for each customer who requests it.

Understand Chaining:
Chaining means doing the same action several times in a row, as in picking up orders, taking money and tending to the hangers. The more times you do a specific action, the bigger your chaining bonus is. If you're familiar with playing other time management games, the chaining tasks in "Fashion Dash" work the same.

Make sure not to break your chain. Some tasks will break your chain include: fetching accessories (perfume, purses, shoes, jewelry). Tasks that don't break your chaining bonus include turning on the stereo and passing out beverages.

Know the bonuses:
Besides chaining, "Fashion Dash" has other bonuses that can earn you points to propel you to the next level. These bonuses are:

Gossip Bonus: If a granny enters your shop, place her next to any female character. The granny will gossip with her, earning you extra points.

Flirting Bonus: Some characters are known to flirt when seated next to certain customers. Earn this bonus by seating certain characters next to each other.

Place businessmen next to a heiress or starlet.

Place young women next to the young men.

Other character combinations will flirt with each other, but this depends on the level. Your briefing before beginning a level will tell you if there are any special flirt combinations to watch out for.

Color Matching: Simply match the color of a customer's outfit with the color of the dressing room for an extra bonus.

Fast Service Bonus: Tend to a customer's needs within a few seconds of the customer requesting help. This earns a little extra money.
