Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen Dies

Alexander McQueen, a well known and successful British fashion designer, passed away at an address on Green Street in central London. Although no official reports have been made as to the exact cause of his death, suicide is suspected by many. Not long ago, on February 3, 2010, the designer posted on Twitter that his mother had died a day earlier, but that "...life must go on!" This event might be what sparked the suicide.

McQueen was a very well known and loved man. He has designed many different fashions worn by a number of celebrities in public events. Such celebrities include people from Sarah Jessica Parker to Gwyneth Paltrow. Many people across the globe have commented that he had amazing talent and was a truly inspirational designer and person. Some might say that he was too outspoken and controversial, but he was respected by many for that.

McQueen will be missed by many both inside and outside of the fashion world. The industry has lost a great asset but will struggle on to fill in the gap left by his passing. His accomplishments wont be easily forgotten.
