Fashion Styling Enchants Antonia Carter on Season 2, Episode 8 of Tiny & Toya
The show opens at Tiny's Nail Bar, where Tameka Cottle checks things out in a "hula chair", getting laughs from the staff and customers there. Later, Zonnique, Cottle's daughter, goes shopping with mom and they rap about who's the favorite kid between her, King, and Majory. Cottle later talks with her son King about the eventual return of father TI. At Tiny's parent's house, a picture of her dad is discussed to use for the benefit, but not for long, because Cottle's life is a full plate with the nail shop, raising the kids alone, etc. Later, Tameka, Tamar, mom Diane, and her dad Charles review a video of past times of seeing Charles perform before he succumbed to Alzheimer's Disease. He soon falls asleep though. Tamar comments on Season 2, Episode 8 of Tiny & Toya that TI's girlfriend has to be "the backbone" for a lot of people, but she needs her own support system, too.
At Antonia Carter's house, there's a party with the ladies to celebrate the new book deal. Brother Rudy has to get the wine bottle open even though he doesn't drink any. Tiny suggests that Toya get into the fashion game, so a meeting is set up with fashion designer Vanessa. Carter would like to have a fashion line, but has no idea where to begin. Vanessa shows the ex-wife of Lil Wayne some of her designs and agrees to check out some samples with Carter, who has a change of heart, deciding that she'd rather be a fashion stylist. Vanessa then challenges Toya to pick some clothes out at a thrift store and to then dress the fashion designer's assistant Marie. After some searching, the ex-wife of Lil Wayne picks out some accessories which Marie later tries on, impressing Vanessa.
