Suits and Slacks
Men's' suiting when worn right can look very elegant and chic on a woman. When wearing slacks and a suit jacket, make sure they are fitted. Wear a blouse made of chiffon or colorful silk underneath and accessorize with flashy jewelry. Always make sure you give men's' slacks a feminine touch by wearing a pair of pretty high heel pumps. The popular clothing store Express carries men's style suiting just for women, as well as a very popular line of slacks called 'The Editor Pant' which comes in a variety of styles and colors. Vests are also great for wearing with men's' dress slacks, and look fantastic layered over a form fitting top with tons of jewelry to accessorize.
White Button-Up Shirt
A popular staple of menswear is the white button-up dress shirt. These can be very sexy when worn by a woman, particularly when its worn very form fitting with the first couple of buttons undone, paired with men's slacks made of tweed or pinstripe material. If you want to take it a step further, wear a sexy black lace bra underneath with several strands of long pearl necklaces, and again, make sure you wear sexy high heel pumps. The white button-up dress shirt is sold at many major department stores such as Macys and the Gap.
Manly Accessories
Men's accessories such as neckties and suspenders are a lot of fun and very popular in fashion now. A fun look for going out on the town is a necktie paired with a cute fedora style hat ala Al Capone, worn with a tight fitting t-shirt and blazer with a pair of skinny jeans and heels. A tie can also give a fun, manly edge to a sparkly cocktail dress or top (think back to Avril Lavigne's look circa 2003 sans the punk rock influence.) Ties are also great for business attire, and can give your office look a unique 1980s edge, as ties on women were very popular back then (remember Melanie Griffith in 'Working Girl'?) These accessories can be found at the men's department of any store, and always be sure to check dad's or grandad's closet for ties, belts, hats, etc. as there is always a goldmine that they have long since forgotten about!
Using your imagination and feminine touch, you can make menswear look sexy and stylish. Details are important, so always have those little extra feminine touches such as painted nails, full make-up, flashy jewelry and most importantly high heels on when wearing men's' style clothing.
