Fashion Tips: How to Make Menswear Feminine and Sexy

Menswear for women has been a fashion statement for decades. From Katherine Hepburn's sophisticated slacks to Diane Keaton's iconic 'Annie Hall' look in the '70s, women have made menswear into a style all their own. In 2010, female celebs such as Victoria Beckham have been seen wearing men's' style suiting with an updated, feminine edge. Here are some fashion tips for all fashion loving women on how to make menswear look feminine and sexy.

Suits and Slacks

Men's' suiting when worn right can look very elegant and chic on a woman. When wearing slacks and a suit jacket, make sure they are fitted. A tie can also give a fun, manly edge to a sparkly cocktail dress or top (think back to Avril Lavigne's look circa 2003 sans the punk rock influence.) These accessories can be found at the men's department of any store, and always be sure to check dad's or grandad's closet for ties, belts, hats, etc. as there is always a goldmine that they have long since forgotten about!
