Fashion Tips for Tall Ladies

If you're a tall woman that likes to look fashionable, there are a lot of things you can do to show off and enhance your tall, graceful figure. You'd be considered a tall woman if you're about 5'8" tall or taller. Here are five fashion tips for tall women to look their best:Wear different colors on the top and bottom.

As a tall woman, when you wear different colors and shades for your tops and bottoms, it breaks up the height of your figure and draws the eye's attention to each area separately. This is a better option than wearing only one color for your outfit, which gives you an even longer appearance. Choose two different complimentary colors for your top and bottoms.Wear layers. Tall women benefit from layering their clothes.

If you have long, lanky arms, layers draw attention away from the long length of your arms. It's also stylish to accessorize with layers. Wear a cardigan or jacket with the sleeves pushed up your arms. This is a great fashion tip for cooler and winter months. Not so much during warmer and summer months.

Wear A-line dresses and skirts. Tall women look great in a-line dresses and skirts. If you're tall and thin, wearing a-line shape clothing will add some width to your appearance. This will help draw attention away from your height and give you a wider appearance, if that's what you want.Wear low heels. Tall women can wear heels.

Tall women may feel as though they're drawing extra attention to their height by wearing heels. So they avoid heels completely. If you're one of those tall women that are self conscious about heels, opt for low heels and skip the high heels. Heels have a way of helping the figure have a graceful, elegant look so wearing low heels gives you some of that elegance without adding too much height.
