Rock on! Moms and dads who rocked out in the 70's and 80's are going to want to outfit the kiddos in the great onesies and tees by Rowdy Sprout. They are 100% cotton and feature flashback favorites such as Kiss, Poison, and AC/DC. Other brands of tees feature The Doors, Sid Vicious, and The Grateful Dead.
Little ladies will enjoy flirty, tiered sundresses in flowery prints and plaids. There are also lots of lovely pinks for the girly girls. Vintage is another hot trend. Skirts made from tablecloth and pillowcase prints are being paired with t-shirts adorned with chenille or crocheted flowers. Halter-tops are happening and gauchos have returned as a fashion must have. Look for denim shorts and jeans trimmed with hankies and appliqués, rickrack and other notions.
Brights are also back and better than ever. They're not 1980's neons, but the hot pinks, turquoises, and oranges are sizzling for little guys and gals. Browns, plaids, and stripes remain a staple for the wardrobe of the well dressed.
The offerings from Disney Couture Tees are super cute and feature such favorite characters as Pluto, Minnie, Buzz and Woody, and, of course, Mickey.
When baby is ready to hit the beach or even the kiddie pool, they will have a hard time picking their favorite swimsuit from all the adorable styles available. The lasses can choose from one piece or two, with or without ruffles or skirts and in every print imaginable from cherries to zebra stripes. Where the lads are concerned, the longer length board short still rules and comes in an array of stripes, plaids and prints.
No outfit is complete without the perfect pair of shoes. (Just ask Imelda Marcos!) Songstress Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. line includes gold crib shoes and black sneakers all complete with a little gold lamb on them. Don't be surprised to see sweet little white sandals complete with skull and cross bones. You may experience a bit of déjà vu when you see babies in Vans just like the ones we wore in the 80's. The little man in your life can enjoy soft leather booties adorned with flames, cars, and even a spaceship. Red brocade and ballerina style slippers are trendy for the little princesses.
We all want to look our best and baby is no exception. Deck your little ones out in some of the fashions discussed here and they will be the most stylish tots on the block.
