Fashion Wars on Facebook: FAQ and Guide

Fashion Wars Brings Out the Chic Fashionista in You!

Jessie Kay
Fashion Wars is a popular social networking game on Facebook from Zynga. Earn money, get your more friends in your posse, collect rare items, annihilate your competition! Here's a guide of the most frequently asked questions, cheats, hints, and tips for the Facebook game Fashion Wars.

What type of Diva should I be?
When you begin playing Fashion Wars, you have a choice of what type of diva you'd like to be. Here are the choices:
Party Queen: Replenish energy to attend more events every 3:20 minutes instead of 5 minutes.
Money Honey - Earn income quicker (every 54 minutes instead of 60 minutes)
Yoga Diva: Heal faster after a fight.
In my opinion, chose Party Queen. Once you reach the upper levels, money becomes less of an issue, plus you can always repair your health using cash.

Can I change my character type later?
Yes, go to your Goodie Bag and select "Change to a new character type." This will cost you 15 favor points.

How do I get more favor points?
You receive one favor point every time you level up. You can also buy favor points using real cash or by filling out special offers.

When is the Britney Mini Dress Unlocked?
The Britney Mini Dress is unlocked at level 35 in Fashion Wars.

When are the Yoga Pants unlocked?
Yoga pants are unlocked at level 40.

Is there mastery on attending events, like in Mafia Wars?
No, at this time there is no mastery for attending events. This is one of the major downfalls of Fashion Wars, in my opinion.

Can my character wear the clothes I buy?
No.

I received a rare item but I haven't reached the level and events where this item is collected. What's going on?
You received the rare item in a fight. The diva you fought against did not lose this item -- it's just your prize.

Is there a way to get retired items?
No, once a limited edition item is gone, it's gone for good.

Where did my rare items go?
Don't worry, they didn't disappear. Go to your "My Stats" page to view.

What's after level 50?
At this time, nothing. The last event in Fashion Wars is the Miami New Years Eve Party.

How do I get more members in my posse?
You can recruit your current Facebook friends to play by posting your Fashion Wars accomplishments on your wall. This gives your non-Fashion Wars friends a link to join the game.
Otherwise, you can search Facebook for Fashion Wars add-me groups and post on the boards. After posting, you'll have plenty of Fashion Wars friend requests! After adding to your posse, you can delete these people from your friends and they will remain in your posse.

Should I grow my posse over 501 members?
The Fashion Wars game only uses your top 501 posse members. When you add more than 501 to your posse, Fashion Wars chooses your strongest 501 players. By adding more members to your posse, the weaker players are not used. If you have more than 501 players, you cannot see which members are not being used in battles.

Good luck in Fashion Wars, you diva, you!
