Fast Cash for Pet Society Fanatics

As any subscriber to Facebook and MySpace will tell you, there is more to these sites than just connecting to people. There are many different programs and activities called applications, or apps, as well. Of these apps, there are any number of games, one of which is called Pet Society. I started playing this game several months ago and would like to offer some tips on how to earn money, or coins, in this game.

The easiest way to earn coins is simply to log on. There is a daily "lottery" in which you earn money just for entering the game. The amount can vary from day to day, but you will earn it once for each day you sign in.

Taking care of your pet is a good habit to get into and it can earn you money as well. By washing (use the bar of soap), brushing, or playing with your pet, not only will their health and happiness levels go up, but so will your bank account. Playing has an added benefit for those collectors out there. You can earn trophies for playing catch or jump rope. And while feeding your pet doesn't provide monetary benefits, don't forget that it just important as the rest.

Have your friends join the game! You earn money once each day for every friend you visit. You can also play games with your friends' pets and earn money just like you would do with your own.

If you take a tour of your pet's house, you will notice that there is a room, or when you are higher level, multiple rooms, where there are little brown hills of dirt. This is your garden. Take a trip to the garden store and buy a few packets of seeds and drop one in each hill. Wait a day and you will grow vegetables, flowers, or trees depending which packet you buy. The vegetables will continue to grow bigger over the next several days, but when you're ready, pick them and sell some of them for a boost to your bank. Don't forget to keep a few to eat or use as bait to fish with. Keep in mind though that the longer you wait to harvest the veggies, the higher chance that they will rot and you will have spent money and gotten nothing in return. As for the flowers, grow them and sell them, or if you'd like, display them in the pots you can pick up at the garden store. The trees are easy money makers. You plant them once and they keep producing food for you to eat, sell, or fish with. The problem with them is that not all trees produce food and the rate of growth is random. You never know when, or if, you'll get anything.

Fishing is fun, but I don't recommend this as a money maker. I've never sold a fish for more than four coins so the food you use as bait is far more valuable. Unless you want to buy an aquarium to display your catch, sell the food.

There is a racing game here where you can challenge your friends. Click on the world button and select the stadium to find it. There are three choices: "race," "practice," and "bet." If you race, and win, you can earn 30 coins. Don't forget to pick up the banana peels on the track! The net 1 coin each. Practice is just what it claims to be, no money there, but you can bet on your friends as they race each other and if your choice comes in first, you win your bet! Just be careful - there are two other racers out there, and if they win, you're out that money.

One last way is to sign up with the "Super Rewards" program. These offers will net you varying amounts of cash, but may fill you email box with spam. I don't recommend this approach.

Overall, there are quite a few ways to earn cash in this game. So if you are hopelessly addicted to computer games like me, try it out, earn a few coins, and bring your friends along for the ride.
