Alicia Sacramone, touted as one of America's most wonderful gymnasts, is now best known for her beam and floor falls in the Beijing 2008 Olympics. However, she's still a great athlete with a great history. And Fox News reports that the Google searches for "Alicia Sacramone is hot" is at a peak. Here are a few facts about her life:

Family and Birth

Alicia is the youngest child of Fred and Gail Sacramone, and younger sister to Jonathan Sacramone. She was born on December 3, 1987, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Beginnings of a Gymnast

Alicia began training as a gymnast at the age of 8. Her first coaches were Mihai and Silvia Brestyan.

Olympic Pursuits

In 2004, Alicia became a member of the U.S. National team and competed in the U.S. Nationals, where she placed 19th. This was not high enough to qualify for the Olympic trials, although she go on to perform successfully in other events that year.

Olympic Team

In 2008, after a successful competition in the Olympic trials, Alicia was named to the 2008 Olympic Team.

Alicia is a seven-time medallist at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Alicia is also a spokesmodel for Cover Girl.
