Fast-food Sex and Dating

Many people in the Internet world have heard or have come a crossed Craigslist. If not it's simply a place to put ads for services, gigs, jobs, things for sale, etc. Well many do not realize that Craigslist is another good way and place to put personals. Yes a place for those to pick up a hot date or even a quick fling. This could either be a sexual encounter or a romantic encounter. I have heard this to be the place for "Fast-food Dating" or even "Fast-food Sex".

A lot of America has adapted to the "Fast-food" society. A quick pace society where people can get anything they want just by driving up to a drive threw window and ordering. In less then a few minutes they have their food, drink, or coffee in their hand and are off to the next destination. These types of services are easy to get without being slowed down. Well Craigslist's personal section can act the same way. Many desire sex or romance but can never find that specific thing they want. Some people may have specific needs that they cannot receive by the people around them. Also, many people may be too scared or nervous to come out with these desires, needs or wants.

Well Craigslist has made it easy and here are the steps:

Location:

Well when placing an ad Craigslist has given locations of big cities and their surrounding areas different sections for posting. First find your location or the big city that is close to your location. *if you cant find your location some of the highlighted big cities have broken down areas a little after you start your listing under that location.

Categorizing:

For starters categorizing is easy. Craigslist is categorized by placing your ad under nine different categories within the personal section. First look to the left side of the page and you will see the 'post to classifieds' link.

-This will take you to the main categories of posting. Find 'personal/romance'.
-Now you will find six categories to choose from. Find the one that pertains to you.
-This will take you to a section where you can choose your gender specifications.
-Once this is made sometimes it will take you to an area where it gives you more available locations/areas or it will take you straight to your posting section.
-Afterward you will finally end up in the 'create post section'.

Create Post:

Now that the categorizing section is done this is where you can "order". You will see sections labeled for the title, age, location, description, email and a section for images. All of these do not have to be filled in but the ones in GREEN need to be filled in.

Posting Title: This section is your heading when people are looking at the list. This is the place where you want to put something catchy. This is the first thing someone is going to see so if you want someone to be interested this is where to put something interesting. Put a heading that is describing what you want or even put "Wanting Romance" or Wanting Sex". These are straight to the point but it says exactly what it is that you want without any weird games like "hi" or "What you want". These headings can be misleading so keep it interesting, eye catching or straight to the point.

Your Age: This is not a required section but is very important. This is another category that will be visible with the heading. Some people feel age is very important so it's a good idea to place your age. **remember be honest, it's the best policy.

Specific Location: This is not a required area but another good one to fill in. Many people use this for something quick and easy so many people really don't want to travel far to get what they want. Remember don't play head games and put everything forward. So putting in your location is good because it wont cause any stress when the person finds out you're a couple hours a way. **remember even though you picked your city some may be in surrounding areas.

Posting Description: This is the most important place of the posting because this is what you are ordering. Now the best way to get responses and to get what you want is to say exactly what you want in detail. Don't leave it at a sentence but go in depth with what you want. Talk about what you want, the way you want it, when you want, why you want it, and where you want it. Simply said, this is the, "who, what, when, where, and why" section. Remember there is no need to feel shy because they don't even know who you are yet. Remember you are in control so order what you want. You wouldn't go up to a fast food window and say I want a drink and a hamburger because who knows what you will get and who knows if you will like that. So actually ORDER what you want. Another good idea is to say something about yourself and also maybe a simple description. Don't go overboard but give a glimpse at who you are along with what you want. Remember the more detail about you and what you want is very important to get a response. It also will feed out those who are not exactly what you want.

Email: Once you are done with these sections you will place your email because when someone responds to your posting their email will be forwarded to your personal email. Your email is not visible unless you put it in or wish to have it viewed. Also, this is where your confirmation for your posting is sent. You will need to publish your post to Craigslist through your email while you can also delete or edit your post through your email. So your email is very important.

Images: Craigslist gives you the option of uploading an image directly to your posting. This can be important and not. If you are going to put an image do not put an image that is crude like a body part or something unattractive because many people do not respond well to this. Guys tend to do this more then women and this can be a major turn off. If you are going to show body parts wait tell you are talking to someone and only do it if they ask for pictures. It's very "tacky" and especially is a turn off. Also, if you are going to put a picture up make sure it's a picture of you. Don't put fake pictures up because it's misleading and this could upset someone. Remember pictures are not a must but a good idea if they are good pictures of you, not crude or misleading.

Publish:

After you are done with your posting you will continue on and will be sent an email. This email contains the 'publish', 'delete', and 'edit' buttons. Before your post is visual you must publish it by selecting this in the email that is sent to you. It's also a good idea to keep this email just in case you would like to delete or edit your posting in the future.

After these easy steps your posting will be visual on Craigslist for your future romance or fling. Remember to always be honest and straightforward. Also, don't give out personal information and watch out for 'Scams'. Not everyone is honest, good hearted or even looking for what you want. Some people do abuse Craigslist to take advantage of people. When using Craigslist always use precautions and be sure to meet someone in a public place before anything else so you can judge them in person. Do not take chances and never lie, be honest.
