Fat Princess Multiplayer Modes Guide

Otter
In total, Fat Princess has five gameplay modes. While each mode has the same core gameplay, the objectives are different. In order to be successful in this Playstation Network game on the Playstation 3, you have to change your strategies when switching to different modes. This guide will help you understand the nuisances of each multiplayer mode in Fat Princess.

Rescue the Princess
Objective: This is the default mode in Fat Princess. Your team must rescue your captured princess from the prison of the enemy castle. At the same time, you also have guard the imprisoned enemy princess at your own castle. A countdown will start once the princess is returned to her throne while the enemy princess is still in your prison. You will be victorious once the timer runs out.

Strategy: For defense, at least one player should be feeding cake to the enemy princess at all times. Otherwise, you should gather a group of players to rescue your princess from the castle. Heading straight to the front door won't work in Fat Princess. Instead, you should look for alternative paths and shortcuts to ambush the enemy castle.

Snatch 'n Grab
Objective: Snatch 'n Grab is somewhat similar to the Rescue the Princess mode. Instead of rescuing your princess, you must kidnap the enemy princess from her throne and imprisoned her in your castle. The first team to perform this objective three times is the winner.

Strategy: Unfortunately, you can't feed your own princess cake to prevent her from being harder to kidnapped. So make sure you have several guards with her on her throne at all times. Use the same strategy as the Rescue the Princess to kidnap the opposing princess.

Team Deathmatch
Objective: This mode in Fat Princess is standard in almost all combative multiplayer games. Simply put, your team must kill more players than the opposition. Whichever team manages to kill 250 cumulatively first will emerge as the winner.

Strategy: The priests are perfect for this mode in Fat Princess, especially when upgraded. Their healing and draining powers can easily turn the tides of any battles. Just make sure to diversify your class selection as too many priests on your team can be detrimental.

Invasion
Objective: The Invasion mode in Fat Princess is basically King of the Hill. Each map has a set amount of outposts. You must capture more than the opponents for a set amount of time. A timer would countdown from 320 once all the outposts are captured and if one team has more territory than the other. The bigger the difference in captured towers, the faster the timer will run. Once the opposing team's timer gets depleted, your team will win.

Strategy: Using the map is crucial in this mode of Fat Princess. It is a good idea to avoid the crowded outposts and go capture/defended vacant ones. Just like Team Deatchmatch, the priests are great for Invasion.

Queen's Rule
Objective: This is a soccer game with a Fat Princess twist. The main objective in this mode is to put the soccer ball into the opposing team's goal post. Whichever team ends up with more goals at the end of ten minutes will be the winner.

Strategy: There's isn't much strategy in this chaotic mode. When you see a hat lying on the field, make sure to pick it up since just about every class is better than the default stating one. Try to avoid big crowds and only go after the soccer ball when there's no opposing player in sight. If you are not kicking the ball, kill as much as the opposition as possible.
