Outside my window,
Fat snowflakes gently flutter,
Descending earthward.
They gather on my front lawn,
Forming a snowy blanket.

Happy New Year, Mike! rcj
'Tis the season! Love the fat snowflakes, Mike. We just call them "huge"!
Sounds wonderful.
This is a beautiful tribute to those white flakes that are covering the world :)
Fat snowflakes are my favorite. :)
Hey! Who you callin' fat?! Love, Flakey
Your poetic title led me to think of its literal meaning. I lost 20 lbs recently and can picture them coming down from the sky as Fat Snowflakes (i.e., snowflakes made of fat). [Sorry. Didn't mean to ruin your lovely verse.]
I have 4' of fallen and drifted fat snowflakes on my patio. They look more beautiful when there aren't so many of them! rcj
