Father Kills 15 Year Old Son: A Big Catastrophe Causes Father to Kill Own Son

Father Became Irate and Kills Own Son After Learning of Sexual Molestation of a Toddler

Meg G.
A Father kills his 15 year old son...but why? Did the father have a reason? Was the 15 year old son out of control? Whenever we hear about fathers and mothers harming their own sons and daughters, it disturbs us. The reason that the father killed his own 15 year old son, however, is heinous in and of itself. You see, the 15 year old admitted that he molested a 3 year old toddler. Unfortunately, the father grew irate and despite pleadings from the boy and his mother he made him strip down, walk to a vacant lot, and shot him execution style.

Taking another person's life is never acceptable. Then again, sexually molesting a toddler is not acceptable either. However, the father took the law into his own hands and executed his very own son.

There's debate stemming over the way the father handled the situation. Some people think that what the father did was right; the sin was far too horrific, and allowing the boy to live would put other innocent young girls in danger. Others think that no matter what, the boy should have been prosecuted through the legal system.

I don't think that the father should have killed his son under any circumstances. If the father was that irate, he should have walked away from the situation, discussed it with the police, and let them handle it.

The boy's mother, Lazette Cherry, called and told the boy's dad about the improper sexual contact with the baby girl. The father arrived at the home with a gun and proceeded to kill his own 15 year old son.

This is yet another tragic tale involving a young child's death. Recently, Shaniya Davis was found dead along a North Carolina highway. A month or so ago, Elizabeth Olten was stabbed and killed by Alyssa Bustamante just because the killer wanted to feel what it was like to kill someone. Before that, Somer Thompson was found in a garbage dump in Georgia after a frantic search for the missing child. Now, a father killed a 15 year old son.

Prosecutors will likely keep the father's state of mind in light of the news his son molested a toddler. Of course, that doesn't mean that the father will get away with murder.

The father, Jamar Pinkey Sr, is being held without bond until a December 1 examination. It is unclear whether or not he will be able to post bond and get released from jail at that time.

This is such a tragic tale. Let's pray for Lazette Cherry and everyone involved in this catastrophe.

I feel bad for the daughter, the mother, the brother, and the dad. What the brother did was wrong, but what the dad did was also wrong. There are different ways to show your kid he was wrong; kick him out, disown him, and spank him. But not murder because your daughter will grow up without a dad.

in mostn cause child molestors ave been molestered themselves. Maybe the Dad saw himself in the boy. Maybe he molestered his son at an earyl age.Something to think about

I am a mother of a beautiful 2 yr old daughter. I cant begin to tell you what I would do in this situation! My heart goes out to this family...So many lives have been changed due to this tragedy. This little baby girl has lost her brother and father! She will never be the same. I feel bad for the boy, he was asking for help. It seems like he couldn't control himself but knew it wasn't right and wanted help. I also feel sorry for their father. He was filled with so much rage. He just reacted! Molesting is a horrible thing but execution of your own flesh and blood is any better...GOD bless this family! I hope his soul can rest in peace...

I am a mother of five four of which are little girls and while I can understand why some people would agree with this man's ignorant actions, Do you people not realize that this was this man's son whom he brought about this savage act of violence true this boy was surely wrong with what he had done. But still how could you put a gun to your own child's head and pull the trigger. Is the world so full of evil that people actually think this is OK.This man should be burn alive he has no remorse. Your job is to teach, love, and protect your children not kill them when they do wrong. Maybe if he had taken a little more time with what he was supposed to do as a father all of this could have been prevented. We live in a very sad world today bless all of god's children and please keep them safe from people like this.

Im glad the father did this. Now some poor woman isnt going to get raped down the line. The son did not "make a bad choice" He is 15 years old and that is rape.

By the way, that 3-year-old daughter probably doesn't have a clue that what the son was doing to her!

I agree with Donatello's comment. It's hard to believe there are self-righteous idiot-jerks out there who would even think to put the "father" in the right. Yes, the son made a bad choice, but it doesn't excuse the inappropriate degree of punishment the father took, especially since the child repented of his sinful act.

    Rayvenda,

Gosh, you're very stupid! You and that Rhonda will someday hate you ever agreed with that pathetic excuse of a parent! GOD PUT YOU IN THIS WORLD, AND IT'S HIS DECISION ALONE TO TAKE YOU OUT!

  • Donatello Simpson12/7/2009

    Rhonda Milbourne,

Self-righteous fools like you can go to hell! That son was sorry for what he did! That father's a waste of sperm and I hope he dies of guilt!
