Father Kills His 3 Children in a Hotel Room

Joint Custody and Unsupervised Visitation Enables Father to Kill 3 Innocent Children

Heather Inks
Would they be here had I not divorced you?
Since the court system failed them in what it was designed to do.

You warned us all, I filed the papers, and clearly told them so,
Yet rational minds refused to believe a revengeful father would deal them a fatal blow.

Did they cry for me one by one as you took each irreplaceable life?
You killed all three of my babies because I refused to live with abuse and remain your wife.

Dear Virginia and Florida,

Change the laws and quit allowing children to be killed for the sake of joint custody. How many children and mothers must be killed before you realize that what "sounds good theoretically in a perfect world with two responsible parents" does not work in a society controlled by greed, lust, addictions, and blatant selfishness?

Sincerely,

Does the bible support joint custody or unsupervised/supervised visitation for abusers?

The bible tells adults to "have nothing to do with them" and how much more so should this apply to innocent children who don't need violent, evil, or immoral role models in their lives? No parent is better than a bad, violent, or deranged parent. But mark this: "There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them." II Timothy 3:1-5 If the courts would obey this wisdom, then less children and women would be killed or made "sitting ducks" for violence.

    Very very sad.

Thanks for sharing that Dan, that is so sad. Sometimes fathers kill for revenge and sometimes to prevent children from telling of sexual abuse when they get older. There are so many killings now and they are forgotten so quickly. God bless.

In the Seymour cemetery, I've stood by the graves of three children who were killed by their father. I guess he was trying to hurt his wife.. He committed suicide. A very meaningful article, Heather!!

I am no longer shocked because I know of thousands more cases of fathers killing wives and children. This mother, a pediatrician, filed regarding the threats and they STILL did not listen. Women are choosing to stay with abusers rather than risk killings in Florida due to joint custody / shared parenting.

    Tragic and sadly probably unpreventable.

Heather, I totally agree with you. I cannot fathom a father who would kill those three beautiful kids. This is a tragedy. Cheers on the report to help get the word out.
