This is the first Fathers Day craft idea that I can think of. You can make an "I Love you dad" t-shirt. You can buy a pure white shirt, or whatever color dad likes to wear, you can buy some fabric paint or permanent markers, some glitter, and whatever else you feel like putting on it. You can buy all of these things at your local Wal-Mart or K-Mart. You can buy some of them at your local grocery store. What you do is you take the shirt and wash it first that way it is preshrunk and it will hold the paint or markers longer. Then you will take the shirt and write whatever you want it to say such as "I love you", "world's greatest dad" or whatever. Then you let it dry and then wrap it up and give it to dad on Father's Day. The kids will love to get involve with this one because you can let them put their handprints on it or they can write what they want to write on it.
The next Fathers Day craft idea I have for you is "Fathers Day picture" mug. What you do is go to your local Wal-Mart and buy a coffee mug. Then you go to the photo section and have them put a picture of your family on it. The only other place I know of is Eckerd's, but I do not know if all states have one. Your children will love this one as well. The reason I say this is because they can pick out the mug or the picture or maybe even both. They will love it when dad's eyes light up on Father's Day.
The next Fathers Day craft idea I have is "Homemade card." I know these are a big hit with fathers because I have done this one before. All you have to do is go and get some construction paper, or you could use cardboard. Then you buy some glitter and scissors. If you want to make a collage out of the card then you should buy some magazines that have dad's favorite sports star in it or you could make a collage of family pictures. You will also need some glue. You can buy all of these things at any store How you will make this is easy. If you are using cardboard then you will need to cut it down to size, but if you are using construction paper then it is already the right size. If you are using pictures then you will need to put them on their first. If you are not using them then you will use the glitter or markers or maybe colored pencils to write the message you want dad to read on Fathers Day. The kids can join in on this as well. The reason I say this is because kids love to play with glitter and other things so they will have fun with this.
The next and last Fathers Day craft idea I have for you is called the "Dad will love this" poster. The things you need are poster board, markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils, glue, and maybe some glitter. The best thing to put on a poster is pictures, so what you do is put pictures of your family on there. You will be able to buy these items at Wal-Mart or any other chain store like this. You will take the poster board and glue the pictures onto the board, then once you are through with that then you will take the colors you want and write the message you want dad to read on Father Day. Once you are through with this let it dry before you put it in a safe place so dad will not find it. You can get the kids to help you with this one as well. They will love it and the reason I say this is because they will love to spend time with you and also they will love the fact that they are making something special for their daddy.
All in all these Fathers Day craft ideas will make the dad in your family light up on Fathers Day. You will be able to see how much he feels special because he will surely show it. You will receive the love back and that is always a good thing. Also, dad will love the fact that the kids pitched in.
