Special Father's Day Promotion at Wendy's

Bob McCoog
This year for Father's Day, if you are a little short on cash, or if your relationship is the sort where money does not matter, Wendy's may be the place to go. Of course, if he is lactose intolerant or a vegetarian, this may not be the best option. But, should you go, you can pay tribute to Dad, and also help someone who's not as fortunate as you are.

During the weekend of Father's Day, Wendy's will donate fifty cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption for every Frostie that is sold. Also, if you go to the Wendy's website, you can make a special Father's Day card. For each card made on the website, Wendy's will go ahead and donate an additional twenty-five cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation. There are several different choices of cards you can make as well as some coupons that can be printed up as well for Dad. These coupons include things such as taking out the trash, washing the car, cleaning your room, or a Frostie (which you would have to pay out of your pocket to get for your father.)

So, although this may seem to be a cheap way out this year, if low budget is in your range, then Wendy's is the way to go. Not only will you have the chance to treat Dad to a hearty lunch, but you can actually help out children who are in foster homes who don't know their fathers.
