Dad's candy bar bank:

Needed:
clean pickle jar, mayo jar or jelly jar with lid.
Candy bar wrappers of dad's favorite kind.
White craft paint
craft glue
small paint brush
clear spray paint

We took the jar and painted it white, inside and out
when dried we glued cut up candy bar wrappers all over the jar and left one spot in the middle of the jar for writing on we did it in a big circle, Painted the words on it, ( dad's candy cash stash. ) we then made a slit in the top of the lid using a screw driver and hammer, We pounded down the tin on the inside of lid to prevent anyone getting cut. the lid was also covered in wraps. We then sprayed the clear shellac all over, when it was dry, what a wonderful gift for dad.

flower pot pencil holder:

One medium clay flower pot
craft paints and felt

We took the clay flower pot painted it a hunter green , the kids each picked out a paint pen and wrote a little message to daddy and signed with love their names all about with messages, very simple cheap and easy.
you can also spray over the paint to make a shinny one.
add some pencils and pens and there you have it. Fathers day gift made with love.
