Father's Day Greeting Card Messages

I can't make a Father's Day card for my Dad or my father-in-law. They've both been gone for years. I still miss them. They both had a great sense of humor and were very hard working men. My Dad died at age 50 when I was 25. My father -in-law died in the second year of our marriage, five years after I lost my father. So, Father's Day is kind of hard on a personal level. My boys had no living grandfathers. My husband was the man, the dad in our lives. My mother has become our only parent after my mother-in-law passed away too. We must treasure our memories and value who we have with us still.

My kids and I took my husband and my mother out to breakfast one Father's Day. We decided that Mom had become our go to person where fathers were absent. My husband has called her for advice about things he would have talked to his dad about. Sometimes Father's day cards are not only for the males in your life.

Greeting for any father: A father has shoulder wide enough for his children to lay their burdens on. A father has wisdom enough to listen to his children. A father has a heart big enough to love them through anything. Thanks for being there for me Dad.
