Looking for something fun and special to do for Father's Day? Steamboat Springs, Colorado has the perfect gift for Dad.
This weekend, June 16-19, the Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup comes to Steamboat Springs. No, this is not a horsey event for Dad; this is over 450 Ford Mustangs that will be showcased for Father's Day weekend.
Ford Mustang owners from several Rocky Mountain Mustang clubs will be spending Father's Day showcasing their fabulous sports cars. Activities will include an Autocross competition and a Show n' Shine Car Show.
If you haven't figured out what to do for Dad, this may be just the event that Dad would love to see.

Post a CommentNice idea. I would enjoy this. My first car was a mustang
My son has always been a Mustang fan and was over the moon when, as a senior in High School (class of 91) drove a 64 1/2 Mustang, given to him by his grandfather. I personally do not have any preference, one car is as good as another as long as it starts when you turn the key.
sounds like fun
That's a great idea!
Ahhh yesss, the Ford Mustang... one of my all-time favorite cars. Great article, Sandy, thanks!
This sounds like alot of fun!
Someday I'll own one of those - think they'll have a Mother's Day event for that? :)
Such a neat article, well done, great memories, thanks Sandy...:0)
Me and my ex had a '68 Mustang. It was our baby! My daughter loves Mustangs!
You're right Sandy dads love Mustangs! My dad was an auto body craftsman; he rebuilt and painted a custom 64/65 Mustang for me when I was in college. He enjoyed every moment he worked on the car but was a bit taken aback when I picked Cadillac paint for it. But he painted it the sparkly blue I picked out! It was great driving the car and even greater sharing the time that he spent on the car for me. We both shared a lot of memories through that car.
