Father's Day Poem: A Gift for Dad

Ron The Don
It was a chance I must take

To clear the air

A chance I must make

If I was to move go anywhere

It was a dream had for years

It goes back to his early age

For all the blood, sweat and tears

As this chapter turns another page

It was a location that was far away

A hidden Gem on any map

It was beautiful on any given day

So peaceful you could take a nap

I walk to hear the bells ring

I see the cloud move the tower

It was a buzz longer than a sting

Shining by every hour

It was the place my Dad found the love of his life

The place his found his first new ride

The joy cuts through like a knife

That car gave him plenty of pride

What I gave was like the real thing

His joy was in full shift

It makes you want to sing

That it's the best Father's Day Gift
