Father's Day Poems

For Papa

Softdiamond
My Papa...

He who named me in his youth

He who shaped me in his dreams

He who fashioned me in his thought

He who pictured me in his mind

He sketched me perfect.

He who calls me precious

He who dresses me pure white

He who tells me about divinity

He who whispers me lullabies

He toned me brightly.

He who holds me endlessly

He who lays me so gently

He who feed me tirelessly

He who offers me life's bounty

He dressed me gracefully.

He who teaches me about numbers

He who plays me with letters

He who sent me to school

He who trains me in all

He shaped me entirely.

He who shows me beauty

He who proves me wrong

He who aids me with value

He who keep me strong

He faced me lively.

He who dances in harmony

He who tricked me in a game

He who fills me with knowledge

He who preaches about modesty

He painted me simply.

He who uttered words of a master

He who throws tantrums as a parent

He who hungers respect as an elder

He who desires for love and justice

My Papa pictured me.

I love my Papa so much that I can't even word my honor and admiration to him as a daughter.
