So, go ahead and bake your favorite cup cakes as usual. Use some cupcake papers so they can stand on their own.

Now, once the cupcakes have cooled use the chocolate icing to ice them. You can use any color you want, but make sure it is not the same color as the Father's Day Shirt and Ties you are about to make.

Now, take one graham cracker half and trace it on some paper. Use this square to draw a shirt in. Make it the shape of a button down, with short sleeves and a collar. Just the outline.

Now, microwave one graham cracker half about 10 seconds. Lay the shirt pattern on top and use a paring knife to cut it out. Just the outline.

Re microwave if needed, but you will find the heated cookie cuts quickly and easily.

Repeat this step making as many shirts as needed.

Now, take you tub of white icing in and dump it into a micro safe bowl. Gently heat it until it is a little runny and smooth.

Holt the shirt cut outs on the edge and dip them into the white icing. Lay them on a cookie rack to dry and harden.

Repeat on all of your shirts.

Now, when the icing on the shirts has dried use you piping icing or writing icing to draw on a tie right under the collar where it should be.

You can use other icing colors to add stripes and polka dots to the ties.

Now, let this icing dry as well.

Take one finished Father's day shirt and stand in a cup cake. You can lay it flat if you wish, but I think they look great pressed in and standing up on the cupcake!

Tip: Try making different ties and even different shirt colors of some variety. You can add a few drops of blue food coloring to make pale blue dress shirts!

You can also use a toothpick to outline details in the shirt as the icing dries.

For a more cartoon look outline the shirt and item in black using a number 2 icing tip. Fill in with color!
